- Authentication data: If you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and avatar so we can attribute reviews and arena votes.
- Usage data: We log anonymous analytics event data (e.g., button clicks, page views) to understand feature usage and improve UX.
- User submissions: Ratings, comments, contact messages, and arena votes are stored so we can show public results and combat spam.
- Preferences: We store your communication preferences, including whether you've opted in to receive occasional updates and newsletters.
- Survey responses: We collect optional, anonymous survey responses about your experience with 3D AI tools, preferences, and feedback to improve the ecosystem.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Operate the site: Authenticate users, record votes, display ratings, and prevent duplicate submissions.
- Communications: Respond to contact requests and send important product updates that could affect your account.
- Newsletter & Updates: If you opt in during sign-up, we may send occasional emails about new tools, features, and 3D AI industry news. These are rare and curated—no spam.
- Safety and integrity: Detect abuse, enforce fair arena votes, and protect against automated spam.
3. Anonymous Research & Community Insights
- We collect anonymous survey data about user preferences, tool satisfaction, and 3D AI usage patterns. This data contains no personally identifiable information.
- Aggregated insights may be shared publicly or with the 3D AI community to help improve tools, inform development priorities, and advance the state of 3D AI technology.
- Survey participation is always optional—you can skip any question without affecting your experience on the platform.
- We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics with tool providers to help them understand user needs and improve their products.
4. Cookies & Third Parties
- Authentication and session cookies keep you signed in securely.
- Vercel Analytics and optional GA4 are used to understand aggregated product usage; no advertising cookies are set.
- reCAPTCHA protects our contact form from automated abuse. Google may collect additional technical data to provide this service.
- Email delivery: We use Resend to send transactional and marketing emails. Your email is shared with them solely for delivery purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Ratings and arena votes are kept indefinitely because they directly power the public rankings.
- Anonymous survey responses are retained indefinitely to build meaningful datasets that benefit the 3D AI community.
- Contact messages are retained until we resolve the conversation or 12 months after the final response, whichever comes first.
- You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us via the contact form while signed in.
6. Your Rights
- Access and correction: You can review your ratings and votes while signed in.
- Deletion: Contact us to delete account data, ratings, or arena votes associated with your email.
- Unsubscribe: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time without affecting your account.
- Consent: You may opt out of non-essential analytics by blocking cookies in your browser; critical functionality will continue to work.
- Survey opt-out: All survey questions are optional. Simply skip or close any survey prompt to decline participation.
